Executive vs Leadership Coaching
Executive coaching is focused on empowering key individuals (i.e. CEO and C-suite level) to refine themselves into more productive, effective, and efficient leaders by embarking on a journey of self-discovery, self-reflection, and self-awareness. Executive coaching is 1:1 with a trained coach.
Leadership coaching is sometimes referred to as a division or portion of executive coaching but it has a small difference. Leadership coaching is available to any professional in a leadership position (i.e. manager, team lead, department leader, etc.) and those who aspire to become a leader with responsibilities for leading others. Leadership coaching can be conducted 1:1 or as a small group with a trained coach.
